Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client.
Determining what their business requirements are, whether the products or services being considered are suitable.
Decide whether the software needs adapting to meet the client's needs.
Answering any technical questions the client might have.
Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client.
Excellent selling skills
Negotiating skills
Advising on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts, such as accounting, manufacturing or other specialist areas;
Meeting sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targets;
Providing support to customers, often on a helpline, offering clear advice and solutions wherever possible.
